An little installation I did for my Psychology of Creativity and The Arts class that's based on the experiment Volkswagen did in Germany.

I created a small, working prototype of the piano stairs that I installed during finals week here at Georgia Tech and was surprised to see how many people actually stopped, and even changed course, just to play with the stairs! And apparently I was able to make multiple people’s days.
It was definitely a fun experiment and in future revisions, I would make the stairs actually extend the full length of the stairs, work much more reliably and fluidly, and possibly make them more obvious and/or colorful.
